Friends

I have been blessed with a large support system made up of not only family, but of many friends. One of the perks of our trip is being able to visit with our friends along the way. It has been so much fun seeing people and catching up with them. We are trying to take advantage of the opportunity to visit with our “extended” family as often as can.

We have been able to see old Air Force friends, my best friends, Church group members and family. Everyone has either opened their homes to us or taken time out of their day to spend with us. What a blessing this has been. I cannot express how grateful we are to have these people in our lives.

Most recently, I returned to Las Vegas and attended a Vegas Golden Knights hockey team where I was able to visit with former colleagues and my season ticket holders. I received so much love and support; it was humbling. It would have been great to take more photos than I did, but I only snapped a couple. This last weekend we were able to visit with a friend I had not seen in more than 15 years. And this week I get to see another. Remember, friends are family too.
