I Raise a Hallelujah

When you are faced with adversity and struggling with a crisis, it is in those moments that we need to be thankful for the blessings we have.  Since visiting with the doctor yesterday, I have been thinking a lot about the treatment I am about to begin, the side effects I may have to endure, how quickly my disease is spreading, and my mortality in general.  With that said, I try to focus on the small things in life in which to be grateful.

First, I woke-up again today!  Next, this trip to Las Vegas I was blessed to spend my time with my dear friend Laura and her daughter.  Third, this morning we attended Women of the Word (WOW) with our old group and visited with the ladies there.  Such an incredible group of Godly women that I’m happy to have in my life.  Thank you ladies for letting us crash your meeting today.

Then, my flight returning to Minneapolis was pleasant.  I flew Sun Country and was fairly pleased with this low-cost carrier.  God painted the sky at sunset with brilliant colors of yellow and orange.  It was awe inspiring and breathtaking.  Such beauty to behold.  Finally, I was reunited with my husband and the puppies; the latter who were especially excited to see their mommy.  Sweet boys!

  1. Oh my, sweet Brandee. Do you know how grateful we were to have our sister with us at WoW yesterday?!! You blessed Each one of us by your presence. Thanks so much for visiting, sharing, hanging out, & making us laugh & smile. You know I’m in awe of You. Praying every single day for a miracle. (And yes, I cried when I read your title & words.) Imagine that. 😘🥰
